A sustained increase in sales has led Agricast to recruit two new people.
The leading supplier of wearing agricultural parts, including Cambridge Rolls, Press Rings, Disc Harrows and Subsoilers, has employed Phil MacIntosh as Warehouse & Operations Manager and Sam Ward as a Warehouse Operative.

Phil left Nestle to join Agricast, where he will be responsible for the day to day management of the company’s warehouse, booking in deliveries and overseeing the shipping of orders to customers.
Sam is predominately supporting Agricast’s whole machine assembly service, which has been incredibly popular with farmers since its launch just before Cereals. As part of the service, Agricast will collect, refurbish and return disc harrow and press axle assemblies.
In February, Agricast reported that 2018 had been a record year, with turnover up by 40%. “2019 has continued in the same vein as 2018,” says William Robinson, general manager at Agricast. “Orders are up year on year, and we’ve had some record months in terms of sales, which is amazing! As we’re so busy, we’ve had to take on new people, and we’re delighted to welcome Phil and Sam to the team.”
Established in 1987 and based on the family’s Lincolnshire farm, Agricast is the UK’s leading Cambridge roll ring specialist and also supplies a wide range of press rings, disc blades and subsoiler wear parts. The company also offers bespoke alterations and fabrication services.
