The series of photographs below document the first fitting of our new STP-600-70 packer for Vaderstad Carriers of any generation.
The existing packers were opening up and filling with soil and the centre section had pulled off the bearing rubbers.
We have been asked for many years to develop a more cost-effective replacement packer, and we were grateful to have the opportunity to fit the first machine at our site in Lincolnshire.

Three of the 6 bearing hangers were heated and straightened. The centre section was 50mm out of alignment.

The machine will be completed this week and heading back down to Essex the first week of July.
